2013 Spring Shootout Schedule Released
The schedule for the Starkville Soccer Association 2013 Spring Shootout is out now. Go to http://events.gotsport.com/events/Default.aspx?EventID=31347 to access all schedules and scores. Parents and coaches can also get scores sent to their email and cell phones using the GotSoccer system. Despite the current weather, we are still scheduled to hold the tournament.

Starkville Soccer Champions: Advance to State
DIII - U12 Boys William Wells Tire & Auto
Two Starkville Soccer Association (SSA) boys teams won championships and a third placed second at the Northern District Tournament in Oxford recently and will represent the club in this weekend’s Kohl’s Cup State Championship. An SSA challenge team also won a tournament last weekend in preparation for President’s Cup challenge team championship play in Tupelo in two weeks. Read more...

U17 Boys - DI Tryout Dates Announced
The dates for tryouts for DI-U17 Boys are the following:
- Thursday May 30th @ 6pm
- Saturday June 1st @ noon
- Rainout Tuesday June 4th @ 6pm
SSA U16 Boys Reach Number 1 in Mississippi!
The Starkville Soccer Association U16 Boys team, the SSA Bulldogs, had their first tournament win of 2013 this past weekend in Memphis. The tournament, the John Talley Showcase, featured 16 highly competitive U16 Boys teams from as far afield as Ohio and Texas. The Bulldogs, coached by Erik Mylroie and Aaron Smyser, played their best soccer of the season against some very strong teams to emerge as champions of the John Talley Gold division, the most competitive division of the tournament.
